ok so I admit that thus far I have been working exclusively with lion brand wool-ease, however I needed specific colors for my prince and could not find all of them in that line. at least not at pearl art anyway. while still at pearl I was considering buying some cotton-ease but though what the hell and went to see what they had woolcott (a fancy real yarn store) and wound up with a couple largely cotton yarns. I bought one color in cascade sierra which has some merino wool in it but two colors in cascade luna which is all cotton. and has a weird texture and one of the colors I'm using it for makes up quite a deal of the prince.
and I realize I absolutely hate crocheting with luna (the other shade, yellow, I will luckily only have to use very sparingly) but it must be done I guess.

oh and btw while looking for a cream color I bought some lion wool realizing only afterwards that you cannot machine wash it.
I should really bother to roll these skeins up into balls. further, I should have them do it at the store when I buy this fucking stuff.

just finished weaving in ends in my first sweater. brief omg moment, but you know I've been probably proud of myself for a few days anyway. weaving in ends is an anticlimax.

only just about to change colors for the second time in crocheting the katamari damacy prince and I'm am totally psyched. I can totally imagine what it's going to look like.
when I told swift that we had to hang out once his prince is finally done he said fair enough.
blah.

nearly finished all the weaving in of the first sweater (major project) I have ever made. quite a bit over half anyway. before I you know got sick of the whole thing and since I bought all the yarn to crochet swift's katamari damacy prince already I thought why the hell not and all start that?
the buttons I bought really need to be substituted for something else, but I'll probably find someone whenever I eventually get my ass to windsor button.
